Generally, progestin-only contraceptive pill is known as "mini-pill." Usually other oral contraceptives have two types of female hormones, one is estrogen and other is progestin. This "mini-pill" contains only Progestin hormone in its constitution and therefore it has no side-effects which can be caused due to estrogen hormone.
